Our Home Herbalist Program provides a hands-on educational opportunity to learn directly from the plants as Rachel introduces you to them in the gardens and wild areas of Red Road Herbs Retreat & Learning Center. Each program is a series of monthly classes (6 months) that teaches you the fundamentals of herbalism with activities and lessons to complete throughout the month.

Year 1 is an introduction to herbalism, providing foundational information and basic medicine-making skills to get you started. In Year 2 you will continue on your herbalism journey and expand your knowledge of individual herbs and body systems. It also introduces you to ethnobotany, herbs for ceremony and the health benefits of mushrooms.

Registration is open for either option based on your current skill level and interests.
